I create works designed to celebrate elegance and function. At the heart of my practice is my love and appreciation of wood. I hope to work with my clients as collaborators - to arrive at pieces that are as much a part of the functional home, office or gallery as they are artworks.

Michal Mandil is a woodworker, designer, artist and educator in Brooklyn, NY. She received her B.A. in sculpture and literature from Lewis & Clark College. Upon returning East, Michal studied under Evan Hughes. She now runs her own design and fabrication studio.
